Poetry Book Master Course Seminar Series
May 15th-18th, 21st.

The publishers of Local Gems Press have taught many seminars on topics on putting together, publishing and marketing poetry books. Hundreds of people have attended these seminars and gone on to produce books from the resulting knowledge. But there is always a demand for more; a more inclusive mastery level offering. In addition, Local Gems Press is only one publisher, why not get some expert advice from some other publishers as well? That's what the poetry book master course is about!

To make this series even more special, we have instructional interviews from two other well-known, hard-working, accomplished publishers: Crisis Chronicles Press and Human Error Publishing. They both talk with Local Gems Press publisher James P. Wagner (Ishwa) about what they look for when accepting poetry books, and various ways to build audiences and market poetry books in today's world.

Series Includes:

Picture
Paul Richmond is publisher for Human Error Publishing and former National Beat Poet Laureate for the state of MA and for the United States. He has planned poetry events and tours all over the US and in several other countries.
Picture
John Burroughs is publisher for Crisis Chronicles Press. He is the current National Beat Poet Laureate and former Beat Poet Laureate for Ohio. His press has published over 150 titles.
