Between Stillness and Motion by award-winning poet Evelyn Kandel had a wonderful launch event at Page On Restaurant in Glen Cove. The venue was packed out to the extent that some people had to watch on in wonder from different sections.

Perspectives 2 at Dowling College (And Hofstra University)
Keeping with its tradition of huge launch events, the Perspectives Series, Poetry Concerning Autism and Other Disabilities Volume 2 had its first major kick off at Dowling College in Oakdale close to the 2 year anniversary of the the Perspectives series' first event. Poets came from out of state to attend. Shortly after Perspectives had a table at a worthwhile event at Hofstra University where it was also well recieved.

Whispers and Shouts at Page One Restaurant
Whispers and Shouts, Poetry Of Long Island Women kicked off it's tour with an event at Page One Restaurant. So many women, so many poets, so little time! The restaurant was hard to navigate for how many people came to hear this reading! The Whispers and Shouts project has already donated over $500 to womens' shelters from the proceeds of the book sales.

Netherworld Befalls at The Witche's (And Tour)
Netherworld Befalls by Charles Peter Watson had its kick-off event at the Witches Brew on Long Island and went on to have several other events in the general area from Starbucks to the Conklin Barn for halloween.

Rhyme and PUNishment at The Lizard Lounge
Poets of Rhyme and PUNishment, Comedic Verse gathered at the Lizard Longue in
Bohemia on Long Island to have a barrel of poetic laughs and an all around good time. The reading was merry, and not one depressing poet graced the comedic stage.
