I lost one that was very important to me
And it was my grandmother
She was the best grandmother that I have ever had lost the time that we spent together.
We laughed and we cried together
She even helped me with the wedding
I would visit her hug her and tell her what a great-grandmother she is
The hurricane made my life come to a halt
I lost her laughter and loved
She wanted me to come down to see her
But o had school and I had to work
I knew this would be the last time I would see her
I would have put everything on hold
I should have realized that her love was important
I can get a job anywhere
Or attend a university that is close to her
But now it is too late
Because she is gone and I will never hug her
And tell her that I love her
My life has been turned upside down
Now my grandmother is gone
